TANZANIA FORUM EVENT REPORT HELD IN 1- 2TH OCTOBER 2021 IN ARUSHA

PREAMBLE

Tanzania Forum is an event conducted in Arusha Region which organized by three organizations such as UNMUNDOSALVADOR SOLER, FOCUS FOR YOUTH and MAISHA ROUTE

EVENT LOCATION: The Tanzania Forum event was taken place on the 1st and 2nd of October at Golden Rose Hotel close to Arusha Stadium.

THE THEME OF THE FORUM: The main topic of the Forum was Social entrepreneurship and NGO’s. The participants have taken the opportunity to learn new skills on how to be independently without depending much on donor assistants/grants. We can mature our projects through the main issues occurs at community level and being able to develop income generating projects that can support the organization activities and become self-reliant

PARTICIPANTS:The event participated by various NGO’s from different Districts of Arusha and Kilimanjaro Regions. These Districts including Simanjiro, Kiteto, Longido, Monduli,and Karatu District.

GUEST OF HONOUR:he guest of honour was the Regional Community Development officer from Arusha Region.

THE MAIN ISSUES DISCUSSED

• The feedback of the annual NGO’s Forum that organized by the Ministry and NACONGO in Dodoma Region. This topic presented by the Regional Community Development Officer
• The importance of NGO’s for Community Development in Tanzania
• Networking for the NGO’s those participated at the event
• Skills on how to develop productive proposals to donors
• Joining the Arusha NGO group and to be introduced to the Regional NGO’s registrar
